A man is on a search for his brother-in-law, who went missing just over two months ago in the small village of Huntley, Mahaicony.
Clint Harrypaul is asking the public to help him find his brother-in-law Bissoon Sukhnandan, 47, of Huntley, Mahaicony. The man has been reported missing since June 24.
Harrypaul said Sukhnandan, a construction worker, lived with his 19 year-old son after his wife passed away a year ago. He said Sukhnandan was devastated after her death. “She had a seizure and fell into a pool and drowned. Since then he would drink but he never had any problems with anyone,” he said.
On June 24, he recounted, Sukhnandan left his home and went to visit a friend in the neighbourhood but never returned. When they went to the friend’s home the next day, the man told them that Sukhnandan had left around 10:30pm that night.
“The million dollar question is whether he is dead or alive,” Harrypaul said. He noted that a report was made at the Mahaicony Police Station but as the days have turned into weeks the family is growing more worried.
“He doesn’t have any enemies and he doesn’t leave his house. I find it strange that he would go missing because he liked his home. He doesn’t interfere with anyone. He didn’t have any enemies,” Harrypaul said. “It’s troubling us not knowing where he is. We checked everywhere we could think of but no one saw him after that night.”
Harrypaul is asking that anyone with knowledge of the man’s whereabouts to call 686-9763 or contact the nearest police station.
