The Golden Jaguars senior squad led by a Delroy Fraser first half hat trick, defeated East Bank of Demerara unit Grove Hi-Tech by a 3-1 margin in their third practice fixture yesterday at the Tucville Community ground.
Fraser found the back of the net for the winners in the 10th, 25th and 38th minutes.
On target for the losers in the 90th minute was Nathaniel Pilgrim.
The national setup took the early lead as Fraser found the back of the net with a right-footed strike to the bottom of the goal, after racing onto a through pass from sibling Delwyn Fraser inside the penalty box.
The sibling connection would once again lead to the score line being increased as Delwyn fed another perfectly weighted through pass to the older Delroy who finished into the back of the net.
Fraser would then complete his hat trick before the half time interval, dispatching his right-footed shot down the middle of the goal during a one-on-one with the keeper within the centre of the area, after receiving a lobbed Jahaal Greaves pass.
With both sides utilizing their respective bench players, the East Bank side would net a consolation goal following a disjointed second half period.
Lurking outside the centre of the 18-yard box, Pilgrim would rifle his flat first time right-footed attempt into the lower right hand corner of the goal, after pouncing on a loose ball from a flat right-sided cross.
