Hassan Mohamed will wrap up the 38th annual ‘Teach Them Young’ eight-week clinic tomorrow in the National Park with the staging of an 11-race programme.
The event which has been sponsored by the National Sports Commission (NSC) for nearly four decades, will pedal off at 9:00hrs

Greaves, a national rider, took the top honours last year in one hour, 17 minutes and 12 seconds.
Other events scheduled to be contested are the 12 to 14 years boys and girls (3 laps), veterans under-50 years (5 laps), veterans over-50 years (5 laps), veterans over-60 years (5 laps), juveniles (10 laps), upright cyclists (5 laps), BMX boys open (3 laps), BMX boys 12 to 14 years (3 laps), BMX boys 9 to 12 years (3 laps) and BMX boys 6 to 9 years (3 laps).
Hamza Eastman (Juveniles), Junior Niles (Veteran) and Clyde Jacobs (Mountain Bike) were other categorical winners last year.
When contacted yesterday, Mohamed said that 57 young cyclists registered for this year’s programme. He also highlighted that despite the inclement weather “I was happy for the eight weeks.”
Mohamed also highlighted that he has “seen potential” in the likes of Mario King, Alonzo Ambrose, Cleveland King, Raphael Leung along with BMX riders Sherwin Sampson, Jeremiah Harrison, Adrian Sharma and Alex Leung.
The cycling coach thanked the NSC for their longstanding sponsorship of the clinic.
