A great weekend of boxing is on the cards.
This is according to Technical Director of the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA), Terrence Poole referring to the National Intermediate Championships which will be staged from this evening at California Square.
“At the Novices competition in May we saw a lot of potential and I expect to see a lot of improvements, so an entertaining weekend of boxing should be on the cards,” Poole said.
Poole intimated that all systems are in place for the event which will attract “about 40 to 50 boxers.”
Come and see boxers on the brink of success boxing under floodlights in all categories, schoolboys/juniors, youths and seniors, with around 26 exciting bouts scheduled.
