Two men appeared in the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court this morning charged with the July 10 murder of beautician Ashmini Harriram and were remanded to prison.
Appearing before Magistrate Zameena Ali were Lennox Wayne called ‘Two Colours’ and Melroy Doris. Wayne is said to be the person who fired the fatal shot at the young woman who was walking on the Lusignan Railway Embankment, East Coast Demerara with another female at the time. Doris was the alleged driver of the burgundy car that transported the killer. A third man, who is a relative of the dead cosmetologist, did not appear.
