More than 140 students in the community of Wakapoa were given footwear on September 3, compliments of Sterling Products Limited’s (SPL) Igloo Ice Cream, a release from Sterling Products said. Each child from Nursery to Grade 6 received footwear.
The community, located in Region 2, depends mainly on farming, fishing and producing products of cassava, such as cassava bread and casareep.
