A contract to the tune of $114.2M under the US$10M World Bank-funded University of Guyana Science and Technology Support (UGSTS) project on Tuesday received a single bid.
When bids were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) only CCS Guyana Limited submitted a tender for the purchasing of equipment for the ICT Network Infrastructure at the University of Guyana.
Back in 2012, the World Bank had granted a US$10M loan to the government which would see a five- year project being run to upgrade the science and technology faculties at the University of Guyana.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development received bids for the maintenance of community roads in Region 6. The bids, divided into ten lots are shown in the table below.
The Supreme Court of Judicature received bids for the rehabilitation of the Weldaad Magistrate’s Court in Region 5.
Bids were also received for the rehabilitation of the caretaker’s and chauffeur’s room at the New Amsterdam Judge Quarters.
Tenders were received for the rehabilitation of the east and west wings of the Supreme Court.
