A man allegedly shot and injured his nephew late Monday afternoon as a result of an ongoing land dispute.
Vickram Ramdanny, 31, of Canal Number Two Polder, West Bank Demerara is still hospitalised with a gunshot wound to the head. The shooting occurred at Kamuni Backdam, West Bank Demerara around 5.30 pm.
When contacted yesterday, Crime Chief Leslie James said the shooting was sparked by the ongoing property dispute and that the police are still looking for the suspect.
