The United Minibus Union says while it is not associated with any minibus strikes for fare increases by non-members of its union, it stands ready to discuss this and other issues affecting the service.
Eon Andrews, president of the union said the group is a responsible body and “not a bus fare union” and will continue to be recognised accordingly.
