The Guyana Pharmacists Association (GPA) recently signed a memorandum of understanding to host the Annual Caribbean Association of Pharmacists in 2015 after winning the sole competitive bid against Jamaica.
According to the GPA, the 2015 conference will be attended by more than 250 pharmacists from the entire Caribbean – French, Dutch, Spanish and English – and the leading regional and global pharmaceutical companies.
In addition, the release said that Guyana had been a successful host on 3 previous occasions, the most recent being 2005.
