Neal and Massy Group of Companies donated finances and stationery to 23 charitable organisations under its Social Impact Programme during a recently held ceremony at its staff facility.
According to a Neal and Massy press release, Chief Executive Officer Deo Persaud said that the company’s Social Impact Programme is not only abut donations, as it also did volunteer work in communities. Persaud reminded the gathering that recently some of the companies in the Neal and Massy grouping conducted enhancement exercises at the East Bank Special Needs School, rehabilitation at the Eccles Primary and cleaning at the manatee pond in the Botanical Gardens.
More than that, Persaud told the gathering, Neal Massy Group of Companies will continue meaningful engagement in the communities, and they view the charitable organisations as partners and he hopes the donations will serve as an encouragement. Some of the representatives of the recipients expressed their gratitude for the donations.
Some of beneficiaries were Beacon of Hope, Bernice Mansell Foundation, Cheshire Home, Childlink Inc, Community Based Rehabilitation Programme, David Rose School for Handicapped Children, Deaf Association of Guyana, East Bank Special Needs School, Hauraruni Children’s Home for Girls, New Amsterdam Special Needs School, New Opportunity Corps, Prabu Sharan Orphanage and St Ann’s Orphanage.
