Three men have been arrested after searches conducted by police at Mabura unearthed an unlicensed 12-gauge shotgun and three cartridges as well as a quantity of marijuana.
In a press release issued yesterday, police said they found the shotgun and ammunition during a search conducted at 10.45 am on Thursday at Frenchman, Mabura. The search resulted in the arrest two men.
Also on the same day, at 3.15pm, ranks on a mobile patrol in the same area conducted a search on a man and 460 grammes of cannabis was found in his possession. He was also arrested, police said.
