Harrynarine Dilchan slammed the lone century of the second round of the Ramchand and Rohan Auto Spares Softball competition which continued last week-end.
Dilchan slammed 114 for Uprisers in their defeat of Brickery by 129 runs.
Batting first Uprisers made 249 all out with Dilchan 114, Ricardo Latif 32 and Fidel Singh 24, the principal scorers.
- Ramdeen with 4 for 31 was the pick of the bowlers for Brickery who in reply made 120 all out with S. Ramdeen top scoring with 31. D. Ramdeen 4 for 17 and Fidel Singh 3 for 15 were the major wicket takers for Uprisers.
In another key encounter Floodlights Floodlights made light work of Industry Super Kings cruising to a 10-wicket triumph.
Industry Super Kings batting first made 113 all out in 18.3 overs with Ishwar Persaud 46 and S. Ramphal 25 the main contributors. Ramchand Raghubeer 3 for 20, Ramkellwan 2 for 8, Dharam Persaud 2 for 10 and John Sumir 2 for 16 were among the wickets for Floodlights who replied with 116 for no wickets off a mere nine overs. Patrick Khan made 53 not out and Richard Persaud 38 not out.
