Over 1,000 feet of road in Region Three have been resurfaced by the Ministry of Public Works.
This is according to a release from the Ministry, which stated that the Hague Access Road and Jib East and West Hague roads were resurfaced with asphaltic concrete at a cost of $50.5M, under the ministry’s miscellaneous roads programme.
Regional Chairman Julius Faerber has stated that he was pleased with the upgraded road network, the Ministry further said. “The roads were done in a manner that is acceptable,” he was quoted as saying in the release.
For this year, the ministry has set aside more than a billion dollars to facilitate road repairs nationwide.
