The Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) Ground on Lance Gibbs Street will be buzzing with excitement this evening from 6pm when the country’s foremost cricketers swing into action in a T20 affair.
Billed as the clash between the iconic Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Guyana’s number one T20 player Christopher Barnwell, the affair promises to provide lots of excitement under the new floodlights purchased with the help of businessman Ricky Deonarine.
Barnwell’s team will include the likes of former West Indies test players Travis Dowlin, Ron King, Mahendra Nagamootoo and Colin Stuart while Chanderpaul’s team will include his son Tagenarine, Robin Bacchus, Narsingh Deonarine, former Guyana players Roderick Lovell and Jermaine Neblette and rising stars Kemo Paul and Raj Nannan.
