Flex Night will return to the ornate splendor of the National Cultural Centre’s stage on December 7.
On that highly anticipated night, the cream of Guyana’s musclemen and women as well as neighbouring and regional bodybuilders will compete for cash prizes, trophies and supplement hampers in four categories.
This and other details of Flex Night 2014 were unveiled yesterday during the official launch of the 2nd biennial event at the Herdmanston Lodge in Queenstown.
Managing Director of Flex Night Inc. Donald Sinclair highlighted that this year’s edition will feature for the first time the Men’s Physique segment along with the customary, Mr. Flex Night, Ms. Bikini and Ms. Best Legs categories.
Sinclair pointed that Flex Night’s motto is `Raising the Bar’ and that this year’s event has a “strong indication of interest from athletes from Suriname, Aruba, Brazil and Barbados.”
The Managing Director also gave an overview of Flex Night Inc., while encouraging sponsors to “come on board to help create more brand awareness.”
On November 1, there will be an athletes meeting at a venue to be announced while the submission of registration forms will end on November 22. Competition for Flex Night starts at 18:00hrs.
