Palms ushers in ‘Month of the Elderly’ with church service

The Palms Geriatric Institution yesterday held a church service to usher in ‘Month of the Elderly’ 2014.

Month of the Elderly is celebrated in October annually and is a month set aside to acknowledge and honour the many contributions that were made by the elderly.

Under the theme: ‘Leaving no one Behind: Promoting a Society for all’ the
