An accused robber, who the police say held his victim at knife-point and stabbed him in the neck before relieving him of a gold chain, was yesterday remanded to prison.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry was Devon Alder, 31, a sawmill worker who denied that on September 20, at Stabroek Market, Georgetown, being armed with a knife, he robbed Nizam Mansoor of one gold chain valued at $300,000.
