Grove Hi-Tech, Herstelling and Soesdyke Falcons recorded wins when the East Bank Football Association (EBFA)/Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport u-13 tourney continued on Saturday. Grove Hi-Tech defeated Agricola Red Triangle by a 2-0 score line while Herstelling squeaked past Diamond FC by a 1-0 margin. Earning their win via the walkover route was Soesdyke over Kuru-Kururu Warriors.
In the feature matchup between Grove Hi-Tech and Agricola Red Triangle, Trevon Pluck opened the scoring for the winners with a 13th minute strike. The win would then be sealed as Kevin Padmore found the back of the net compliments of a 36th minute conversion.
In the Herstelling versus Diamond fixture, Joshua Boodhoo separated the two sides as he found the back of the net through a 24th minute conversion.
