Rehabilitation works on airstrips in the hinterland will soon begin as the Ministry of Public Works yesterday received bids for the project.
The tenders, which were divided into four lots, were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board, Georgetown.
The names of the companies and their respective bids are shown in the table below.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Housing and Water received three bids for the two-lot tender for supplying of electrical line hardware for Amelia’s Ward in Linden Region 10 and for Recht Door Zee in Region 3.
The National Communications Network (NCN) received one bid of $1, 063,944 for the procurement of six computer systems for that agency’s use.
The retender for the Ministry of Education’s rehabilitation of the University of Guyana, Berbice Campus’ buildings, received three bids.
For the construction of a one-storey structure, as an extension to the northern section of the Guyana Energy Agency’s Head Office three bids were received.
