A Lodge man who reportedly attempted to break up a fight on the Bourda mall is now a patient of the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after being stabbed to the stomach.
Joseph Adams, 53, of Princes Street, Lodge was injured last evening around 9 PM and, hours later, was moved to the theatre of the GPH as doctors attempted to remove the long-bladed knife from his abdomen.
According to reports, two persons became embroiled in a fight and Adams attempted to end the dispute.
