The Titans Table Tennis Club will stage a table tennis training camp and tournament to commemorate its third anniversary.
According to a press release from the club, the camp will be held from October 13 to 22.
Since its launch in October 2011, the Titans Table Tennis Club has embarked on a number of projects, initiatives aimed at affording youths the opportunity to cultivate positive attributes such as discipline and goal setting while sustaining active, healthy lifestyle,” the club stated in a release.
The club added that the six day training camp was being conducted as a way of expressing the club’s gratitude for the support they have received over the years.
“Interested individuals will be afforded the opportunity to access our training facilities at the Guyana red Cross Society building and receive high level coaching free of cost from our International Table Tennis Federation(ITTF) certified coaches. Participants are free to attend all scheduled training sessions if they are desirous of doing so,” the release added.
The club will also stage a Titans Youth Cup tournament on October 24. Play will be held in the novices, (persons who have never competed before) nine years and under, 11 years and under, 13 years and under, 15 years and under and 18 years and under. There will also be a beep test, the club’s release stated.
