Wedge Capped or Weeper Capuchin (Cebus olivaceus) are commonly seen in the forest along river edges in the Rupununi. These monkeys have a distinctive wedge cap of dark brown fur on 
their heads and travel in mixed groups with squirrel monkeys. With slightly longer limbs that the Brown Capuchin (Cebus appella), they like to jump through the forest canopy as they travel in pursuit of food.
