A labourer was yesterday sentenced to three years in jail after he broke and entered an attorney’s office and stole a number of items and cash.
It is alleged that between the October 11th and 12th, Gary Kanhai, of Thomas Street, Georgetown, broke and entered the office of attorney Emily Dodson and stole two Dell computers, a toilet set, a wheelbarrow, a webcam and a quantity of cash, totalling $373,000.
Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, who heard the matter at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts, was told that
