Calls for inquiry over alleged use of probe at horse race meet

Stable owners are calling on the executives of the Guyana Horse Racing Authority (GHRA) to act swiftly on the alleged infringement of the rules and animal cruelty which occurred on Sunday in the feature event of the PPP President’s Cup at the Kennard’s Memorial Turf Club.

It is alleged that in the A and Lower one mile event, champion jockey for the day, Trinidadian Keran Razack illegally used probes to shock the Dark Bay mare, Princess She is Not at different intervals of the race.
