An elderly Kitty man, who claimed he has hearing problems, has been fined for playing loud music which disturbed his neighbors.
George Mohan, 69, of 58 Station Street, Kitty, appeared to be straining to hear when his matter was called in the Georgetown court of Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry on Tuesday. As a result, the magistrate was forced to raise her voice as she communicated with him.
He accepted that on October 12, at his residence, he played loud and continuous music to the annoyance of his neighbours. In his explanation to the court, he spoke loudly and said that
