Two Group B matches will be played in the Upper Demerara Cricket Association (UDCA) T20 Hardball Cricket Competition on Sunday at Maria Elizabeth.
Young Achievers will take on Royal Champions in the first game beginning at 9.30 A.M, while Coomacka Exodus will clash with Muritaro Young Warriors from 1.30 P.M.
In matches played at the same venue a week earlier, Young Achievers defeated Coomacka Exodus by 39 runs and Muritaro Young Warriors defeated Royal Champions by ten runs.
In the first game, Young Achievers took first strike and made 150 all out in eighteen overs with useful scores coming from Ray Peters (35), Shurland Peters (33), Shane Charles (29) and Keshon Jones (26). Orwin Armstrong with four wickets for 26 runs off three overs and Joshua Ettienne with 3 for 25 off 4 overs were the main bowlers for Coomacka Exodus.
In reply, Coomacka Exodus were bowled out for 111 in 13 overs with the top scores coming from Andrew Richmond, 28, and Jeffery Torres, 21. Joel Jones captured three for 11 off four overs and Keshon Jones completed a fine all-round performance with three wickets for 21 runs off three overs.
In the second game at the same venue, Muritaro Young Warriors notched up 160 for two in fifteen overs with half centuries from Dellon Jones (65) and Nick Estwick (56). In reply, Rodell Peters smashed 81 runs and Victor Persaud chipped in with 28 runs before a vociferous crowd as Royal Champions made 150 for five in their allotted 15 overs.
