Dear Editor,
The standards of Church’s Chicken, New Amsterdam outlet have dropped severely. A few weeks ago, the air conditioning was off; the place was hot and the doors opened.
During a visit last evening (Wednesday), there was no fries. The only side available was mashed potatoes. There were no chicken sandwiches or fish sandwiches. In fact, most of the items on the menu were not available.
When asked why, the cashier said they had a rush earlier that afternoon; but I knew better.
There is also the long usual wait for chicken to finish frying.
Something is definitely wrong with that place. We need more GT- based fast food outlets, like Royal Castle, etc in Berbice.
