The Burnham Foundation is collaborating with small producers of pickles and other agricultural products to host a Producer’s Day exhibition and fair today at the ACDA headquarters, Thomas Lands.
In a press release, Clayton Hinds, an executive member of the Foundation said plans are in train to add this event to its annual calendar programme as it is in keeping with the ideals of the late president LFS Burnham to make Guyana self-sufficient in agriculture.
Several small producers are expected to participate.
The products displayed will also be available for sale.
The exhibition will be held from 7am to 2.30pm.
