Businessman Randy Charles, allegedly held with a semi-automatic pistol after shots were fired in a city street, was yesterday remanded to prison on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and a quantity of ammunition.
It is alleged that on October 25, at Waterloo Street, Georgetown, Charles, 36, of Premniranjan Place, Prashad Nagar, had a Intratec Luger 9mm pistol, commonly known as a ‘TEC-9,’ in his possession without being the holder of a firearm licence.
