Lindener Orville Hinds on Sunday won the grueling Digicel sponsored Breast Cancer Awareness cycle road race in 2h 39m 29s. Paul de Nobrega was second and Robin Persaud third.
The race which started at the Berbice Bridge and ended at the National Park’s entrance on Carifesta Avenue, saw Andrew Greaves finishing fourth, Gebron Crawford, fifth and Marlon Williams sixth. When the race got underway, Persaud, Alanzo Greaves and Hinds set the tone by taking the early lead.
