The report `Police’s failure to arrest Gregory Smith was improper, says Crime Chief’ published in our October 23 daily, erroneously stated that PNCR attorney Basil Williams walked out of the Walter Rodney Commission of Inquiry. Williams did not walk out, he left after completing his cross-examination of a witness. Stabroek News regret the error and any embarrassment caused.
