A vagrant, accused in the theft of a rabbit and a bicycle, was remanded to prison yesterday after he could not produce a fixed place of abode to a city court.
Michael Jairam denied knowledge of the charge, which stated that between October 17 and October 18, 2014, at Stabroek Market, he stole a brown rabbit, valued $3,000, and a bicycle, valued $23,000, belonging to Deborah Douglas.
