Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) second division and under-13 competitions will continue this weekend with 11 matches scheduled for venues around the city.
Seven matches will be played in the New Building Society (NBS) second division tournament while four Banks Malta Supreme U-13 matches are also set.
On Saturday, the following teams will compete in NBS matches: Zone ‘A’ at the Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) ground, the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will face Third Class while in Zone ‘B’ at the University of Guyana (UG) ground, the host UG will tackle Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO).
In Sunday’s matches, Georgetown Cricket Club will visit GNIC, GDF comes up against Everest at Everest in Zone ‘A’ matches while in Zone ‘B’ Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) will host GYO, Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) play Diplomats at MYO and UG is set to challenge St. Stanislaus at UG. All matches are scheduled to start at 10.30am.
On Saturday in the U-13 matches, the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) will take on Bel Air Rubis at YMCA ground at 9.30am while from 1.30pm GCC will face MSC.
On Sunday, Everest will play against TSC in the morning game and in the afternoon defending champions GYO will come up against Diplomats.
