Escorts stood waiting outside of the Freedom House on Robb Street yesterday as members of the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) held a high-level meeting to plan their strategy for when the National Assembly reconvenes on Monday. President Donald Ramotar addressed the nation on Tuesday with the news of the reconvening and threatened early polls in the face of the opposition plan to move ahead with a no-confidence vote against his government.
