A man yesterday appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts charged with possession of cannabis at the Georgetown Prison.
It is alleged that Anand Baldeo had in his possession 2 grammes of cannabis at the Georgetown Prison. Baldeo entered a plea of guilty when the charge was read to him by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
He was fined $3,000 along with six months community service at the Georgetown Prison.
