(The Sports Xchange) – – -The Dallas Mavericks registered one of their biggest ever comebacks to maintain their dominance of Sacramento with a 106-98 victory over the Kings at American Airlines Center Tuesday night.
Dallas rallied from 24 points down, tying the third-largest overcome deficit in franchise history, to extend their winning streak over Sacramento in Dallas to 21 games dating back to 2003.
The evening also provided a milestone for Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki, who scored 23 points to pass Hakeem Olajuwon for ninth on the NBA’s all-time scoring list and first among foreign-born players.

Grizzlies 107, Lakers 102
The Memphis Grizzlies got the victory and Kobe Bryant got the unwanted landmark. The Grizzlies defeated the Los Angeles Lakers at FedExForum as Bryant set the all-time NBA record for missed shots even as he scored a game-high 28 points.
Bryant shot 10-for-26, giving him 16 misses on the night and 13,421 missed field-goal attempts for his career. The Boston Celtics’ John Havlicek previously held the record with 13,417 misses.
Memphis had its largest lead when center Kosta Koufos scored on alley-oop with 6:50 left in the fourth quarter for a 101-84 advantage.
The Lakers charged back and a Bryant three-pointer cut the lead to three at 103-100 with 1:33 left, but they got no closer.

Raptors 104, Magic 100
Guard Kyle Lowry scored 19 points, including two key free throws late in the fourth quarter, and added seven assists to lead the Raptors to their fifth win in a row.
The Raptors, who are off to a franchise-best 7-1 start, were down by 11 at the end of three quarters but rallied in the fourth. They took a 101-98 lead with 1:05 left when guards DeMar DeRozan and Lowry each made two free throws.
Evan Fournier led Orlando with 24 points and forward Tobias Harris had 23.

Bucks 85, Thunder 78
Shooting guard O.J. Mayo scored 19 points, point guard Brandon Knight had 16 and forward Giannis Antetokounmpo added 14 as the Milwaukee Bucks won consecutive games for the first time since March 2013.
Antetokounmpo set a career-high with 18 points last time out and did not miss a beat on Tuesday, hitting 6-of-13 attempts from the field and pulling down eight rebounds with two blocked shots.
Oklahoma City got a game-high 29 points from point guard Reggie Jackson.
