Investigations are being conducted, police say, into the murder of miner Dennis Creme, 35 years, of Port Kaituma, NWD, which occurred at about 1830h. yesterday at Snake Creek, Cuyuni River.
Investigations have revealed that Creme and another man were imbibing at a shop when he was stabbed to his neck. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Bartica Hospital.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
