The emergency numbers for the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) are out of service due to a breakdown in a section of the telephone system.
The public is advised to call the GPH switchboard numbers: 227-8209 or 227-8210 for ambulance and other emergencies, a press release from GPH stated.
It is unclear when the numbers will be active again.
