A new champion will be crowned today at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall when Alpha ‘the Hammer’ United and Riddim Squad do battle in the grand finale of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Stag Beer Futsal Championship.
Known for their expertise on the outdoor version, Alpha United has clearly been a revelation throughout the tourney and will start the final as favourites following comprehensive wins over the Guyana Defence Force, Fruta Conquerors and Western Tigers in the earlier rounds.
Their ability to seamlessly adapt into the shorter version of the game is clearly evident by their dominant attacking displays as they have
