Rain and a waterlogged outfield forced the organisers of the Rohan Auto Spares/Ramchand Auto Spares softball cricket competition to reschedule the semi-final matches to today weather permitting.
The semi-final matches were set to be held Friday night and last night at the Demerara Cricket Club Ground.
However the organisers in a press release yesterday announced not only the rescheduled date but a change of venue as the matches will now be held at the Police Sports Club Ground at Eve Leary.
The fixtures are 9.30am Eastern pitch: Mike’s Wellman vs. Slingers (Masters) 12.30pm Wolf Warriors vs Farm (Open);
9.30am Western Pitch, Floodlights vs Parika Defenders (Masters); 12.30pm
Regal vs. Ariel Uprisers (Open)
According to the release the male/female day/night Final is set for the DCC ground next Saturday starting at noon.
