A man was stabbed to death yesterday after an argument with his co-worker.
The murder transpired at G City Electronics and Record Bar at Camp and d’Uurban streets, at around 2am.
Police said yesterday that the dead man, who appeared to be in his early 20s, was not identified, while his assailant was in custody.
The man had been working at the store for about two weeks and the other employees were not familiar with his name nor that of his assailant.
They knew them only as ‘Dougla Boy,’ and ‘Tall Man,’ respectively.
Store employees also said the murder might have been caught on its surveillance camera.
When Stabroek News visited the scene yesterday morning, there was only a trail of blood.
The corpse had already been taken off to Lyken Funeral Home to await identification.
Persons that saw the man’s body said it was a single stab wound that caused the man’s intestine to be ripped from his abdomen.
