The Guyana Water Inc. (GWI) today apologized to all customers served by the Shelter-Belt Water Treatment Plant which it said is experiencing reduced levels of service due to an electrical problem.
GWI said it is working with GPL to complete repairs by 18:00hours (6pm) today, December 1.
In addition, it said that customers served by the Sophia Water Treatment Plant are also experiencing reduced levels of service due to emergency maintenance which will be completed today.
GWI apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
