The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) on Friday suspended Magis-trate Alex Moore, following a complaint of inappropriate behaviour, during a hearing at the Sparen-daam Magistrate’s Court.
According to JSC member retired Justice Prem Persaud, Moore will be investigated over the allegation made by an Enmore businesswoman that he acted inappropriately towards her when she appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court, where he presided.
Persaud was refused to divulge anything further, added that the investigation into the matter is yet to commence.
