Chief Education Officer Olato Sam is now in recovery after being admitted to a city hospital.
Sam was admitted to a hospital sometime last week and up to yesterday he was still receiving medical attention. His condition was reportedly serious but when contacted yesterday a ministry source told this newspaper that Sam was doing much better.
According to the source, Sam had been recuperating well but had relayed that his matter was a private one. He also requested time to recover fully.
It is still unclear what led to Sam’s hospitalisation.
In January 2011, Sam was appointed to the post of Chief Education Officer.
