At about 0620h. today, police say that Joel Kirpaul, 45 years, of Hogg Street, Albouystown, was walking along High Street, Georgetown, when he was held up by a man armed with a firearm.
Police say that the man shot Kirpaul to his right foot and took away $2, 800 and escaped on a bicycle.
Kirpaul has been admitted to Hospital, as the investigations continue.
