This newspaper was told by one of the boys that it was only when persons from a minibus travelling in the opposite direction made a commotion the policemen took Bouyea to the hospital.
Bouyea’s friend stated that the minibus had stopped and they were crossing the street in front of the bus, he stated that his friend made his way across the street and when he turned to see if his peers were following the truck him down.
The injured boy’s mother said that he was in critical condition with broken bones and a collapsed lung with internal bleeding.
Investigators were at GPHC to question witnesses however some family members felt that they were also intimidating the other boys who were providing statements.
