Cricket Guy Inc. (CGI) and the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) have congratulated Guyana Jaguars Captain Vishal Singh on his maiden Regional 4-day century scored in this season’s West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Professional Cricket league tournament.
Singh stroked an unbeaten century, 115 against the Trinidad & Tobago Red Force in the Jaguars first innings on Saturday. The knock was described by all as an excellently crafted and constructed one which was overdue but came at the right time in the wake of Guyana’s nightmare three-run loss in round three against the Barbados Pride.
Singh who was also under pressure with the bat after failing in the third round in both innings broke the shackles with his “Captain’s knock” which also placed his team in a commanding position to win his first match as captain.
