Over 100 young people are now equipped with work and life skills, having completed some 4 to 5 weeks of training under the United States Agency International Development (USAID) Skills and Knowledge for youth Employment (SKYE) project.
A graduation ceremony was held at the Guyana Red Cross Society Compound at Eve Leary on Friday, where 107 youths mainly from regions 3, 4 and 6 received certificates for having successfully completed the ‘Work Ready Plus’ and ‘Work Ready Now’ curricula, as part of the SKYE project.
