SOL launched its Fuel Up and Win Promotion yesterday in a small ceremony at Shell Gas Station, Vlissengen Road. Under the promotion, the first prize will see any customer who spends $3,000 having an opportunity to win free gas for a year. The second prize is for six months’ free gas and the third prize three months’ free gas. In addition, lucky customers have a chance to win $100,000 if they spend $8,000. Reporters were also surprised when they had the opportunity to win $100,000 in a money blowing booth. A Chronicle reporter and cameraman had the opportunity to grab cash from the booth as well as a Stabroek News reporter.
